How Person Centred Counselling can help with Relationships
Healthy relationships are the basis for an enjoyable and meaningful life. We can find a sense of belonging through our interactions within families, friendships, partnersand coleagues at work.
Difficulties in this area of life cover a wide range of problems – You could find yourself feeling emotionally distant from your partner and communication between you is breaking down, or perhaps you are feeling jealous and let down. You maybe are at a point where intimacy with your partner no longer works for you, or you need help as you go through, or are considering separation or divorce.
Relationships with parents or wider family may be constantly tense or distant or you feel you always repeat the same mistakes in friendships.
Your interactions with those you work with can become a source of stress in your life, it may help to be able to share your situation with someone outside of work to work out how to move forward.
Currently I am unable to offer counselling for couples, but I can work with you on an individual, one-to-one basis to help you understand what you want from your relationships and how to move towards achieving it.
With an increased understanding of how you relate to others and your feelings and emotions within your relationships , the hope is you will become confident in making informed relationship choices and developing more satisfying bonds.
